Jordi Alba okay to play but Xavi and Iniesta missing against Cartagena.
Alba is back in the squad for first time in almost three months, for the first leg of the Spanish Cup last 32 Xavi and Iniesta have a sore calf and hamstring, respectively, and Adama and Dongou come into the 17 man squad, with Pique missing (technical decision)

Jordi Alba is the main addition to the squad for their visit to Cartagena for the first leg of the knockout phase of the Spanish Cup. The fullback has been out since September 13th, due to two different muscle injuries.Puyolis also back, after missing the Bilbao match due to an injury to his right knee.
Xavi and Iniesta out However,Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta will miss the match as a precaution. According to the Club's medical team, Xavi has some persistent discomfort in his right calf muscle, whilst Iniesta has a slight hamstring strain in his left leg. Gerard Pique and Isaac Cuencaare both rested. Dongou and Adama make up the list of 17 players travelling (the coaching staff will have to leave one player out before the game). The two reserve team forwards took part in the training session at the training ground. All available players trained, whilst Iniesta and Xavi did some specific recovery work.
